Sadly it looks like I wont have time to finish or work on my project. The car has up until recently been registered, but I just don't have the time to even drive it at the moment.

1974 Mk 1 Escort (has the Mk2 Floor pan). 2 litre Pinto motor with a T9 5 speed and single piece tail shaft fitted. RS 2000 Radiator, twin 45mm webbers. Drives nicely, would be a great car to just register and drive, or a great base for an easy restoration.

Contact me if you are interested and we can talk price

That's a nice looking car Matt. I feel your pain with being short of time to drive it. I'm in the same boat myself with my Cortina. Good luck with the sale, they're a popular machine so I'm sure it will generate some interest.

Thanks Matt. I really don't want to get rid of it, but if I keep it, I will end up pulling it apart for a full restoration (as I don't have the time to drive it), and I definitely don't have the time or the spare space to be doing that!

Fair enough. I'm working on the principle that it's costing me nothing to leave mine in the garage and I'll get back to it when I can. It has taken me 3 years to get around to pulling the front passenger seat out to send it in for a retrim but I guess good things come when you wait long enough ha ha.
