Just when I thought I had seen enough of the Fast and Furious franchise, along comes the next instalment. My son and I saw a trailer on Youtube and thought, let's see how ridiculous it is this time. Sure the story is even more far fetched than before, the CGI enhanced stunts are out of control but then we saw this blurry image...

There it is again! But we wanted something a bit easier to see....
Holy crap! Now they are jumping it. Lucas and I both knew it couldn't possibly be real but it looked pretty impressive all the same, and then (I'm ready for my close-up) - it was there for all to see. A very pretty MK1 Escort complete with RS paint job, bumperettes and some wheels that we all recognise.
What a magnificent shot! Without being a scene from Expendables, just how much more action can they possibly fit into one frame? Damn it! I guess number one son and I will just have to go see the whole movie now just to see how much rubbish they manage to spout about the work that has gone into this little blue beastie. Won't take long to figure out if they did their homework will it...
