After a miserable few days during the week the weather took a turn for the best on Sunday for the Medowie Show and Shine at the Bull n Bush Pub. Due to the upcoming Narromine trip (only 2 weeks away) and various other commitments, it was a very small turn out for HBFG with 3 cars in attendance, joined later by a few extras and some members who were there just for a look.

I arrived at 8am and immediately wished that I hadn't. The wind was freezing and there were only a few cars. Just as I started to wonder if I was going to be the lone ranger for HBFG, Graham and Di Brown arrived in their black Cosworth Sierra followed shortly by Andy Kowalski in his Capri. We were later joined by Tim Solly and family in his racy little Anglia and the Ross family MK2 Cortina complete with burn marks (most of you know the story - great to see it up and running again Kel).

Matt Swan and son Nathan (the ever smiling photo bomber) rode from their nearby home on bicycles to have a look as well. Despite the slow start, the number of vehicles steadily grew with a large number of GT Falcons, hotrods and classic 50s iron rolling in throughout the morning. Once the music started, the place started to hum and the weather became a fine example of a winters day with clear blue skies and warm sunshine....
